Last December 11th, AEDIVE proceeded to renew the positions on its Board of Directors with the appointment of Chairman Mr. Santiago Losada, Director of Operative Control and Institutional Relations at Urbaser, a company devoted to urban environmental services with more than 400 electric vehicles on its fleet.
Losada is known and recognised due to his closer relationship with public administrations at national, regional and local levels, energy agencies in Spain and abroad, public and private institutions, associations and companies connected to the value chain of the electric vehicle market. His professional background before joining Urbaser include management, human, commercial and financial stewardship in various different companies in fields like Defense, Security, Health, Education, Telecommunications, Refrigerated Transport, Urban Logistics and Services.
The Association pools around 50 companies which are manufacturers and distributors of electric vehicles, charging points, EV load managers, ancillary industry, ICT companies, e-Mobility services, renting companies, technological centers and universities and professional end users (fleets), among others.
The new Board of Directors is made up of 15 full associated members and beyond the figure of the President, two Vice-Chairs have been appointed.
A Vice-Chair for Infrastructure on the person of Mr. Jon Asín, EV Business Unit Director at Ingeteam, and Mr. Juan Luis Plá, who is Institutional Relations manager at Nissan Ibérica, as Vice-Chair for Electric Vehicles.
Thus, Losada replaces Mr. Rafael Muñoz in the office of President. Muñoz is Industrial Engineer and Energy Efficiency & MV Innovation Manager at Schneider Electric and during his presidency, a number of great successes have been achieved like the transformation and growth of AEDIVE from a group of Innovative Companies involved in the EV Infrastructure arena to a Business Association involving all the value chain of the Electric Vehicle market.
