Postponment of the AVL Conference «Vehicle & Environment» in Graz! New date on May 25th – 26th, 2023

In light of the war in Ukraine, AVL List GmbH has decided to postpone its trend conference «Vehicle & Environment». The new date has already been set for May 25-26, 2023. The main theme of the event remains unchanged and will again be dedicated to interacting systems in software-defined vehicles. AVL will donate the funds originally earmarked for this year’s event to Red Cross Austria to support people in need due to the war in Ukraine.

Graz, Austria, April 2022: «Vehicle & Environment» in Graz has been a key event for automotive industry professionals for 34 years. In addition to renowned speakers and high-quality content, networking is an essential part of the event. The current global political situation does not warrant a time to celebrate community in good spirits. It has led AVL to the decision to cancel this year’s event.

Moreover, due to high COVID-19 cases the course into the summer remains uncertain – a smooth running of the event is questionable. In addition, a further decrease in travel is to be expected, which is already limited by the pandemic.

AVL is combining the decision not to hold the 2022 event with a donation to Red Cross Austria.

The new date for «Vehicle & Environment» is planned for May 25-26, 2023. Both the conference title («Interacting Systems in Software-defined Vehicles») and the conference topics will remain the same. They range from innovative software and hardware solutions, through advanced systems engineering methods, safety, and security, to new business models.

Tickets already purchased for 2022 will be fully reimbursed by AVL or can be rebooked for the following year.
